A Surprise Party

Ken and Jori continued their surprise reconnection love affair this past May 5th at their home in Fernandina Beach Florida. Jory hit her 70th, and Ken orchestrated a massive surprise party that was attended by about 20 of our Seaholm mates for a long weekend.

Quite an event. We had two new faces that didn't attend the 50th in Holly Shuler Tzar and Alice Wessels, as well as old standbys like Sally and Dave Jensen, Sally Cunningham Downey, Nancy Thalacker, Phil and Mary Ann Kendall Essig, Sue Adair, Joyce McCracken, Andy Stickel Van de Camp, Pam Huffman Gerber, Bill Kinney (class of 60) widower of Jeanie Maurer, Bill and Ann Purdy.

The pictures are attached.

Contributed by Dave Jensen.

New PIPER: Online and Ongoing

We had a wonderful time at the 50th Reunion — so many good friends to see again, so many memories to revisit. And now, with over a year gone by, and with four years remaining till our next reunion, we want to keep that spirit alive by making this website into an updated version of The Piper, a place to meet online for news, entertainment and conversation.

To make that happen, what we need most of all is for everyone to help out.

New In Memoriam Page

The In Memoriam page is one of the most visited parts of the site, and in order to make it easier to navigate the list of departed classmates, we have divided it into two sections:

1.    In Memoriam (Since 50th Reunion)
2.    In Memoriam (Before 50th Reunion)

Maples Reunited

It's all about enthuasium and spirit — the Birmingham Seaholm High School Class of '61 has held the 10th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 40th, and 50th reunions. We are planning our 55th (September 9 & 10, 2016), 60th, 70th and 80th (we'll only be 98)

This website is loaded with goodies, the most important of which is our ability to share life's experiences via pictures and comments. Scroll through the 517 plus classmates with email addresses and enjoy memories, reacquaintances, and if you are a BSHS 61'er, use the login to update us on your situation including a recent picture.
